Fibula

Apulia, southern Italy, late 8th/early 7th century BCE

Bronze. “Peschiera and Servirola” type bow fibula closure with a decorative cover of figure‑of‑eight spectacle spirals riveted to the fibula. The central joints were originally decorated with bosses made of another type of metal (probably tin). The catchplate terminates with a vertical spiral.
